Terms of Use

The rules
of this site.

What you can expect from the pages here, what the client marks and headline figures on them do and do not mean, and the terms you accept by reading them. Our actual consulting work runs on a separate written contract.

Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by PayTech Consulting AS, registered in Norway under organisation number [organisation number], with a registered address at [registered address], Norway. "We" and "us" below mean that company; "you" means anyone using the site.

Reach us at hello@paytechconsulting.com.

02

Accepting these terms

Using this site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

They govern the website alone. They are not the terms on which we advise, diagnose or deliver: those live in a signed engagement agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.

03

The site is informational

Everything here describes what we do. None of it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, a commitment to supply, professional advice, or a recommendation you should act on by itself.

Payments strategy is specific to a business, a market and a moment. Nothing on this page has been written with your circumstances in mind, and it should not be treated as a substitute for advice that has.

We work to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is either, and we may change or withdraw any of it without notice.

04

The client marks

The home page carries a scrolling wall of organisation logos. This clause explains what it claims, because it would be easy to read more into it.

WHAT IT SHOWS
Organisations that we, our group companies, or our consultants in the course of their careers in payments, have worked with or served. It is a record of where our experience was earned.
WHAT IT DOES NOT SHOW
It is not a statement that any of these organisations is a current client, that any specific engagement was performed by this company, or that any of them endorses, recommends or is affiliated with us.
TRADE MARKS
Every logo shown is the trade mark of its owner and is reproduced to identify that organisation. We claim no rights in any of them, and their appearance implies no partnership or sponsorship in either direction.

If you own one of these marks and would prefer it were not shown, write to us and we will remove it.

05

The figures are indicative

The headline numbers — 800+ projects delivered, 35 countries, 25+ years in payments, 20 working languages — describe our collective track record in round terms. They are not audited figures, they are not restricted to any one company in the group, and they are not a forecast of what any engagement will achieve.

The diagrams on this page, including the corporate payment flow and the global orbit, are illustrations of how we describe our work. They are not live data, a system, a dashboard, or a depiction of any real client's operations.

Nothing on this site should be read as a performance guarantee. Outcomes depend on the market, the mandate and the organisation delivering the change.

06

Intellectual property

The content, design, layout, code, graphics and the PayTech and PayTech Consulting names and logos are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Third-party marks shown on the site remain the property of their owners, as set out above.

You may read the site, and print or download extracts for your own reference or to share internally when you are considering working with us. You may not republish it, sell it, use it commercially, present it as your own, or scrape it in bulk — including to train a machine learning model — without our written permission.

07

Links out

Most calls to action on this site open WhatsApp, which is operated by a third party. The pages also load their typefaces from Google Fonts.

We do not control those destinations and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their handling of your data. A link is not an endorsement. Read the terms and privacy notice of any service you go on to use.

08

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm anyone.
  • Do not try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its host or any connected system.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site's availability, or introduce anything malicious.
  • Do not harvest contact details from the site, or use our WhatsApp number to send unsolicited marketing.
  • Do not copy the site in bulk by automated means without our permission.
09

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude the implied warranties and conditions that would otherwise apply to it.

We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10

Availability

We do not promise that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict it, in whole or in part, for business or operational reasons, without notice.

11

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, so please check it when you return. This version is effective from 26 September 2026.

12

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the law of Norway. The courts of Norway have exclusive jurisdiction, with Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) as the agreed venue at first instance. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
